Buy Yandex Music streams: how it works

Track streams lasting at least 30 seconds
This option covers larger orders, ranging from 250 to 1,000,000 plays. Provide the exact song URL, not the artist page. It can be used for a new single or an existing track receiving additional promotion.
The 30-second figure describes playback duration claimed by the supplier. It is not an official Yandex Music counting threshold. Yandex does not publish the exact number of seconds required for a stream to count.
Track streams lasting at least 60 seconds
This service provides a longer claimed playback duration and accepts orders from 50 to 1,000. It is designed for smaller quantities. Both track services use authorised Yandex accounts from Russia and CIS countries.
Longer playback does not establish that more streams will be counted, nor does it guarantee improved recommendation placement. Choose based on duration and quantity rather than assumed algorithmic benefits.
Listeners for an artist page
Unlike track streaming, this service focuses on the audience shown on the artist page. The supplier states that participating accounts listen to the artist and appear among their listeners. Orders range from 100 to 30,000 and require an album URL.
This distinction matters when promoting an artist rather than one song. A listener figure is not interchangeable with total plays, and the monthly audience can change over time.
What are monthly listeners on Yandex Music?
An artist page displays a listener count. Yandex does not publish a complete formula defining its monthly listener figure. However, verified artists can use BandLink, Yandex Music's artist analytics service, to examine their audience over a rolling 28-day period.
That 28-day analytics window is a useful reference, but it should not be presented as the confirmed formula for the public number. The figure represents recent audience activity rather than an artist's lifetime total of streams. Without fresh listening activity, it is reasonable to expect the recent-audience figure to decline over time.
According to music distributor YOURTUNES, since July 2025 monthly listeners are counted for tracks where the artist is credited as the primary performer. Listening to a collaboration where the artist appears only as a featured guest does not add to that guest artist's monthly figure under the reported change.
There is also an important consideration for new releases. Yandex Music's Nitro programme can give artists with up to 5,000 monthly listeners a chance to reach a new audience through pitching. If Nitro is part of your release strategy, consider that threshold before ordering additional listeners. Purchasing streams does not guarantee Nitro participation.
Streams versus unique listeners
Streams represent plays during a selected period. Listeners describe audience reach: one account can play the same track repeatedly or listen to several songs by the same performer. Therefore, 1,000 streams do not automatically equal 1,000 unique listeners.
Use track streaming services when your objective concerns a specific song. Choose artist listeners when the artist-page audience figure is the intended metric.
How to find the correct Yandex Music link
For a track
Open the song in Yandex Music, select the three-dot menu and choose Share, labelled «Поделиться» in the Russian interface. A typical track URL looks like music.yandex.ru/album/123456/track/7890123. Use this format for either streaming service.
For artist listeners
For artist listeners, copy the URL of one of the artist’s albums, such as music.yandex.ru/album/123456. An artist page URL is not accepted for this service. The domain may also appear as next.music.yandex.ru. Tracking parameters in a copied link are acceptable.
Check that the address opens the intended object. Playlist links and personal user profiles are not suitable substitutes.
How many Yandex Music streams should you order?
There is no universal quantity for every artist. Compare your target with recent releases, current audience activity and the scale of your promotion. A gradual increase generally makes more sense than ordering a volume far above your existing organic numbers.
Yandex Music considers patterns of audience activity, so plan quantities alongside ordinary music promotion: release announcements, social media content and playlist outreach. Do not assume a fixed ratio between streams, likes and listeners will produce a particular outcome.
If you plan to use Nitro pitching, take the monthly-listener eligibility threshold into account as well.
When do streams appear in analytics?
The supplier states that all three services start within five minutes. This refers to the beginning of fulfilment, not completion of the entire order.
Verified artists can view streams, listeners, track likes and engagement in BandLink. Its figures update once per day: after 8 PM Moscow time, data for the previous day becomes available. A delay in analytics does not necessarily indicate a failed order.
Planning a natural-looking release campaign
Start with your existing track performance and choose a proportional volume. Increase quantities gradually, monitor comparable reporting periods and combine orders with active promotion of your release.
According to the supplier, accounts may occasionally perform additional actions, such as liking a track or listening to another song. This is possible behaviour, not a promised bonus.
These services do not include a stated guarantee against later decreases in displayed streams or listeners. Additional plays also do not guarantee placement in My Wave (Моя волна), Yandex Music charts or editorial playlists. Likes and saved music may appear in a listener's Collection (Коллекция), but recommendation outcomes are not guaranteed.
What can prevent an order from being completed?
- The link points to an artist instead of an individual track for a streaming order.
- The track has been removed or is unavailable in the relevant region.
- The URL opens a playlist or personal user profile.
- The order uses an album or track link where the selected service requires a different object.
If an order cannot be completed, payment for its unfulfilled portion is refunded automatically. This does not constitute compensation for any later changes in the platform's statistics.
